To our loyal customers, we hope you’re all safe and well.

Due to the ongoing restrictions, as with so many other businesses, Sportykids will remain closed for the time being.

The health of my team, parents and especially our children remains my top priority. We’ll be keeping a close eye on government guidance and when we have news we’ll update this website page and our Facebook page @sportykidssoftplay to let you know.

We miss you all and we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors. When we get to the other side of this Sportykids will be back, I will assure you of that!

While Sportykids must remain closed for now – we’ve launched an additional business which I’ve had on the back burner for some time. You can check out what we’ve been cooking up at www.wok2box.co.uk.

Again, thank you for all your kind messages and for supporting our family business over the years.

Ian and all the team at Sportykids.

I love SportyKids. The facilities are first-class and my kids are always happy there and I can get a coffee and cake and the food for the kids is great too.

Feedback

We always want to provide the most excellent service to our customers. If you have any feedback to give us we'd be delighted to hear it here.

We are flying the Scottish Flag at half mast today to show our continued to our Scottish members and all Scottish indoor play operators in calling out what has been an extremely unfair and unjustified 14 month period of closure that has crippled if not killed many.
We have asked the Scottish Government to provide us with the justifications for not opening our sector in level 2 and why adequate support is not forthcoming. Explanations are needed!!

If you know a Scottish playcentre that is closed please tag them.

Sportykids Softplay

Hi there I hope you are all keeping well and safe. As you may know the Indoor Softplay industry in Scotland needs to be in level 1 before we are allowed to reopen. We had a provisional date of June 7th but after today's announcement we will not be re opening then. To be honest I like so many of you am completely feed up and just want to get back to my normal life. Furthermore I can't understand why you can go to school or nursery, a cafe, trampoline park, role play cafe etc but can't come to a indoor softplay centre? I think all governments globally have had a horrific time dealing with Covid but in my humble opinion the Scottish government have shown a complete lack of understanding of how safely our businesses could operate and are in a desperate financial position with the lack of support over the past "15" months we have been forced to close.

Anyway I feel better after that wee rant !!! I just wanted to let you know that Sportykids will be back as soon as we are allowed. So keep patient and I cant wait to welcome you back soon.

Sportykids Softplay

So I have been looking at this post screen for hours trying to think of a positive way to update all our customers about the announcement yesterday. Unfortunately I never came up with anything!! As you may or not know all indoor play centres in Scotland were advised by the Scottish Government that we could not reopen on Monday 15th as planned. English play centres have been open for 5 weeks with no issues. All schools and nurseries are thankfully back. After school clubs are back. Team sports are back and even trampoline parks are now open (don't get me started on that one), and you can got to a cafe with your kids. However we have been seen for some inexplicable reason to be of a higher risk but there are no statistics to back up their decision. Unfortunately Sportykids will remain closed until the beginning of October at the earliest. When we are finally given the green light to open we will be here for you and your families. We are Covid complaint and you will see from hand sanitizing, new hand washing station for the kids, face to face screens, reduced capacity and our new procedures you and your family will be safe and able to relax. I can't wait to see you all again soon. Its been a really difficult 6 months but we will be here for you when times allow. Keep safe and thank you for your continued support ...

Sportykids Softplay

Hi everybody,
As you may have heard last week the Scottish Government has given Sportykids and all indoor softplay centres a provisional opening date of 14th September and we are hoping to re open then! Obviously we are working really hard to ensure Sportykids will be ready and as Covid secure as physically possible. We will like all businesses have had to make changes in how we operate, and we will soon update you with our plans. We are going to reopen slowly with reduced customer numbers to allow more space between tables. At this time, we are not taking any party bookings until we have been given clarification on how birthday parties can be run safely given the numbers of mixed households etc.
We can’t wait to see all our customers again in our own small way bring a little bit of normality back into all our lives.

Sportykids Softplay

We sadly had to close our doors back in March and we hope that during these uncertain times you have been staying safe and healthy.

With some of the government restrictions lifting in the upcoming months, we thought it was time to get in touch and give you an update on what's in store for Sportykids.

We have been taking this opportunity to work on refurbishing Sportykids from top to bottom in addition to ensuring that the building and facilities are cleaned thoroughly, as well as making sure all necessary health and safety measures are in place in line with Government Guidelines.

We'll be sure to get in touch soon with further updates, in the meantime please stay safe and we hope to see you all again very soon! 🤞

For any inquiries, please email info@sportykidssoftplay.co.uk with full contact details and we'll respond.
